Lately the lip glosses I buy burn?

I have worn lipstick for 30 years with no problems, but I have bought three different brands of lip gloss lately - even a cheapie Flame-Glo and they all tingle and burn so much I have to wipe them off. What gives?Lately the lip glosses I buy burn?
might have lip plumper added inLately the lip glosses I buy burn?
i dont know..maybe your buying lip plumpers..if not maybe there something in lipgloss that you are allergic too..good luck
An allergic reaction. All the lip glosses you bought must have some ingredient that in the past the other lipsticks have not had. Usually the lip gloss you buy lists the ingredients on the tube compare one of your usual lip glosses to the new ones, and if they all have ingredients that yours in the past have not had you may as well throw them away. In the future if this happens, and is more serious than making your lips tingle and burn you may want to call your doctor or a dermatologist and ask them about it.
You might want to try a different lip gloss. Lancome just came out with some new P.U.R.E lip glosses that are all natural so it shouldn't sting at all unless your allergic to something natural. Or you could try a Color Fever Lipcolor that is a lipstick that looks like a gloss.
Maybeee its Plumping gloss
the ingridients in them might be too harsh for your lips, you could be allergic to them, or you could have chapped lips. use a lipgloss that's gentle. My friend used to buy these one type of lip glosses that where about a dollar each. the only ingridient in them was castor oil and coloring/[[or]]scent/[[or]]flavor they where great and the oil is good for your lips. also, you can make your own easily.

鈥hoose an eyeshadow/blush that you would like on your lips.

鈥n a plate, your hand, or a reusable small container put a dab of vaseline and scratch some of the eyeshadow/blush onto it

鈥ix well

鈥a da!

ps: the eyeshadow and blush aren't bad for your lips. they're mostly made up of pigment, which is what a lot of lipglosses and lipsticks are made of also.
If it's a pulm lip gloss that ';makes your lips plum'; (it's not true though)

then plum lip glosses always burn. And if not then your skin is sensitive to lip glosses. May be an allergic reaction.

May be since your use to of wearing lip stick.

Or try getting a different brand. They have lip glosses in store for sensitive lips.

=)
That is not very common, but i guess that the components inside the lip gloss are not right for your type of skin.
Chapped lips maybe?

Or you could be allergic to the ingredients in the lip glosses...
dude omg STOP waering that stuff and go check it out!!! you never know what you can be doing to your lips!!!
you probably are using one that is supposed to plump up lips. it does this by irritating them mildly
Lipgloss has an Acid chemical that makes them shine, Adding a vasaline before you put on the lip gloss will protest your lips. if the the vasaline burns then that is a good thing that means your lips are healing.
Sounds like a mild allergic reaction- don't laugh, allergies can change at any time- that's why hair salons have to do a patch test every time you get your hair dyed, even if you're using exactly the same sort of dye as last time.

Try taking hay-fever tablets (as these are actual for all types of allergic reaction, including skin ones. I'm prescribed them to help take the itch out of my eczema) for a few days and then give the lip-gloss another try, because if the reaction's mild, this should prevent it. (I have a cat allergy and three cats quite happily) if the burning continues, contact your doctor, and the lip-gloss manufacturers.
Have you been in the sun lately? Maybe the sun burnt your lips.
check to see if they are also a lip plumper because if they are then it will burn for a few minutes
has you lips been chapped? that may be it, or you could be allergic to them
Sensitivity and possible highlead content in the brands you are using.
maybe you have sore or cut lips that you havn't realised :/
DONT WEAR THEM!

try different brands (cheapies suck) and see which is better.

you may be allergic to an ingredient in gloss but not stick.

this happened to me and it is a matter of finding the right brand.

also, look in the ingredients bar of all three and jot down the similarities.

then try a new one without one of those ingredients.

good luck!

ps:you will get it eventually
go to your doctors, they should be able to give you a cream to apply on before you apply the lipgloss :)
You may have an allergie to a certain main ingredient in Lip Gloss.....Or they are out of date. Because that happened with me before...I had this chap stick for a couple years, and I put it on and it burned..
Lip-plumping is a big thing right now so a lot of lip glosses come with extra ingredients designed to irritate the skin and give it a plumped effect. This can feel burny.

Alternatively, you may just be allergic to a common lip gloss ingredient.

I had that before, i think its that whatever is in the lip gloss your lips have an reaction to it, i would suggest trying organic ones if there is such a thing or just dont wear lip gloss.
