Clinique's Lip Gloss line is phenomenal, the best in my opinion. As for clear nail polish, I always go with Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails and you can get it at any pharmacy/ drug store like CVS for like $3.

Is chap stick and lip gloss the same thing when it comes to kissing?
My boyfriend hates the feel and taste of chap stick so I tend not to wear it around him because he freaks out when I kiss him with it. However, my lips have become less soft now that I don't wear chap stick as often. I have some lip gloss and I was wondering if its the same thing?

They are not the same thing. Chap Stick keeps your lips from being chapped but it makes them rough. Guys don't like kissing a girl with Lip Stick because it smudges and leaves stuff on the guys face. But Lip Gloss, mmmmmmmmmm. It tastes good it makes a guy want to taste a girls lips. it is smooth. the feel of it is great, the taste is great and it leaves no smudges and it makes them taste good, and it makes them smooth. I love kissing a girl with Lip Gloss. mmmmmmmm it is sooooo good.

They also made one in a squeeze tube called ';Double Dip'; it has clear gloss in one outside chamber and the colour in the inner chamber, depending on where you squeeze the tube you can choose how sheer you want the gloss. Quo is only sold in Shopper's Drug Mart.
If you are not in Canada then try L'oreal Color Juice or Victoria's Secret gloss. Oddly Wet and Wild also makes a very nice gloss called Glassy Gloss and it's really cheap.
Edit - I don't think there is such a thing as a waterproof lipgloss, the reason they can make waterproof lipsticks is because they make them as a stain, a lipgloss by nature cannot be a stain.

Hi! I tripped the other day, and came crashing down on my purse, and a tube of a quite sticky, glittery dark pink lip gloss was broken open. It is now all over the bottom of my bright green lined bag. And, since the bag is canvas, it has also sneaked through and onto the bottom of the bag. I was wondering if there was a good way to make it so it won't be , at least, sticky anymore. If there were a way to get the color out as well, I would be so excited. Any help is appreciated.

Is it safe to sell people lip gloss that was made a year ago?
I have a lot of lip gloss left over that I made for the Christmas craft fair last year. It has natural oils and a perservative which is liquid germall. It's been sealed in containers that were santized with boiling water before filling. Is it okay to sell it or could there be killer bacteria growing in there after a year? They are popular with little kids so I don't want to take unneccessary risks.Is it safe to sell people lip gloss that was made a year ago?

I got this very nice North Face white coat for my birthday, and the other day I was in Sephora, and I managed to get three little dabs of lip gloss on my coat.
The coat is like a grided material.
Is there any way that I can fully get the lip gloss out? I haven't washed it out yet, because I didn't know if that would sink the color in more.

Don't use bleach....even if the coat is white, you might end up with whiter spots than you had. The bleach pens are a better idea, as is the Dawn...
Just don't dry the coat in the dryer until all the stain is gone. You shouldn't need to if it's only little stains. Heat sets most stains...

I don't have huge lips, but my lips are bigger than most peoples. They stick out more and look HUGE with the types of lip gloss that most people wear. either Nude Beach, or Cloud Nine
why because these glosses when applied are almost colorless but glossy. If you apply any color to what you describe as massive lips, it simply would make them stand out more, which is what you said you did not want. So I hope this helps.

I am going on a few dinners with my fianc茅's family this weekend, and I want to keep a red pink lip gloss on through dinner even though my lips are going to touch the wine glass a few times. What should I do? What type of lip gloss will work for me?
I have fairly dark skin (I'm Italian) and I can never find a good lip gloss that works well with me. If you could recommend some that might work. Also, I'm kind of on a budget so if you could make sure that it is also a reasonable price that would be great. My daughter took her lip gloss (the kind with the roller ball) and drew all over my couch. I tried using just water and it still shows up. It is an oil based lip gloss. The glitter came off but still left an oil trail. My couch is microfiber. Any ideas?

Cornstarch will absorb the greasy marks, and after the cornstarch is brushed away, and spot treat the area with one of the grease removers listed here. Wash the item as usual, and the greasy marks should be gone.
Knit Fabrics
We鈥檝e all heard how club soda is great for removing wine stains from fabric, but did you know that club soda also removes greasy marks from knit fabrics? If you have a knit fabric article with oil or grease spots, pour club soda over the spot. Allow the club soda to work for several minutes, treat the spot with one of the oil removers mentioned below, and wash the item as usual.
Mechanic鈥檚 Hand Cleaner
Hand cleaner for mechanics is great for removing grease and oil from hands, and it also works to remove greasy marks from fabric and clothing. Treat the greasy mark with mechanic鈥檚 hand cleaner as you would use any pretreatment, and wash the item as directed.
Since shampoo is specifically meant for hair, it contains products that break up oil and grease. Work shampoo into greasy marks, and wash the item as usual. If you don鈥檛 have time to wash the item in a washing machine, work the shampoo into the marks, rinse the area, and dry it with a hair dryer.

You can buy a MAC balm that is especially made for erasing colour from your lips to give a nude base which is meant to be amazing, however it is about 拢20.
I suggest just making your own by adding a tiny dab of foundation or tinted mousturiser with some petroleum jelly and putting it in the microwave for a while.
I would definitely say use a balm from the store.
You can usually find them in any superstore, like Walmart or Target (I'm pretty sure they have them in the UK). Blistex Advanced Repair or Silk %26amp; Shine will do wonders. I'm living proof. they're both about 2-3 dollars here, so it should be close to that over there.

put moisturizing lip balm on first. Then a longwearing lip gloss - anywhere from drugstore brand to higher end cosmetics
i use este lauder myself it comes in a tube in several shades.wear it over your normal lipstick and your lips will look great

okay my sister got this really cool lip gloss at bath and body works! one side is like this puma stone thing that makes your lips really really smooth and then you put that on for a minute then you whipe it off and then the other side is like the gloss part but its not sticky at all, it makes your lips shiny, and then it has a like a little color to it. I love it! :) :) :)

I think the Covergirl Wetslicks would be pretty good for you. Also, Covergirl has a ton of different kinds of lip glosses, so you have a great, affordable variety to choose from.
Revlon Super Lustrous!!! You cannot go wrong! Trust me I have tried them all. I'm a huge fan of the Chanel Glossimers, and these are just as good a 1/4 of the price. Check out revlon.com.
